Drennon Family

Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing the Drennon family of Eureka Springs, AR.  Mom Gina had found me via Twitter a few weeks ago and saw that I was going to be traveling to her area soon for photo sessions.  It was perfect timing.  This super nice family was great to work with, and we really lucked out with the weather.  The day of their session was around 70 degrees and beautiful…a far cry from the dreary, cold weather we’ve had all this week.

Below is what happens when you ask Michael and Gina to look at each other for a photo…they burst out laughing.  :-)  I couldn’t help but smile the whole time I was editing this sequence.

The photo session was shot at a family member’s place.  The views were outstanding and there was a huge pond…very pretty.  Apparently, the pond is stocked with monster-sized fish because below is Carter telling the family his fish story.  One time he caught one “THIS BIG!” Looks like Dad might disagree…  lol

Right after that I asked who the family clown was, and without hesitating everyone pointed to Carter.  How was I not surprised…haha.  Below is just a couple of the many faces of Carter.

I just love this photo of Avery.  There’s something incredibly endearing about it.  His 13th birthday was the day before our photo session.  Officially a teenager!

Both boys are very much into sports so we did a family huddle shot.  Carter showed me his game face.  That kid cracks me up.  lol
