Vintage Signs :: Design & Typography

Two blog posts in a row related to theme parks??  Yes, that appears to be the case.  :)  LOL  Yesterday, I was at Silver Dollar City, a theme park here in Branson, MO.  It’s got lots of rides, festival events, craftsmen, music shows, and more, and everything has an old-fashioned vibe to it.  Yesterday’s trip to Silver Dollar City was an especially exciting one.  I got stuck on a roller coaster and attacked by a squirrel, but that’s a whole other blog post….  haha

What I wanted to share today were some photos I snapped with my iphone.  Since the park is designed with an 1880s theme, there is lots of fabulous vintage-inspired signage throughout.  I just love the old typography and layouts!  Here’s a collage of the photos I took.
