Lapdog Luxuries Logo Design

I just love it when one of my photography clients becomes a design client, as well, or vice versa.  That was the case here with Amanda.  I’m so honored that she called on me to help brand her business. Within minutes of our first meeting, I could tell that we were definitely on the same page and that it would be a great project!

Lapdog Luxuries specializes in high-end products for dogs.  The business’ demographic includes dog owners who enjoy the finer things in life and who view their dogs not just as pets, but as members of their family.  The logo design for Lapdog Luxuries was have an upscale feel, and it needed to portray sophistication and, just as the business name says, luxury.  Amanda also knew that she wanted a fairly simplistic design with a black and silver color scheme, and in addition to the main logo, she wanted a secondary graphic to use on stickers, etc.  Below are the designs that were chosen. I’m really excited with how everything turned out!

A behind-the-scenes look at some of the other logo concepts explored during the design process.

“I honestly cannot say enough good things about working with Tiffany. She picked up what I was wanting right away. From the moment I saw the first drafts I knew I had picked the right designer to brand the business. I loved so many of them it was so hard to pick just one primary logo. Tiffany nailed it. Lapdog Luxuries has a style and an appeal that no other has. I love the subtle detail of the filigree forming a dog bone. How clever is that? What’s even better about it is that you don’t notice it right away. Once you start looking at the detail and keeping in mind that it is a business aimed toward dogs you see it. That takes a great and detailed-oriented mind to come up with.  Our secondary logo is elegant and simple and really helps brand our business. I couldn’t imagine working with anyone else.”  – Amanda Kinsler (Lapdog Luxuries)
