Yesterday was my very first boudoir photo session, and I’m so excited to say that it went incredibly well. Lots of fun, lots of great images, and my client was just fabulous! We shot in a suite at the beautiful DoubleTree Hotel in Springfield, which had amazing modern decor and perfect natural light. Below is probably my favorite image from the session. I thought it kind of had a cinematic quality to it…looks like it could be a movie still.
Boudoir photo sessions have become extremely popular in cities all over the country. In fact, you’ll often find them now as a standard add-on for wedding photography packages. As it seems with a lot of trends though, things are sometimes a little slow coming to the Ozarks.
When I announced last week that I would start offering boudoir photography, I was amazed at all of the inquiries I received from interested women. Many of the them mentioned that they had been wanting to book one of these sessions for a while but had not found many local photographers (specifically female photographers) who offered them. In order to expand this area of my portfolio, I offered discounted sessions to my first three boudoir bookings. These spots went fast!
SPECIAL OFFER: Due to all the interest, I’m currently working on putting together a new boudoir special. Shoot me a message at mail(at)tiffanykelley.com if you would like to be notified when this becomes available.
